Golf Ball Sweet Spot

Hitting The Golf Ball In The Sweet Spot

You should always hit a golf ball on the sweet spot. You want that golf ball to fly straight without going off course. Here are a few tips to help you develop a powerful, straight shot. Aim and alignment are important factors that you can control before you swing. Even though you won't hit the sweet spot every time, you can greatly increase your chances if you improve your aim and alignment.

A good shot routine will help you to fine-tune these crucial skills by forcing you to follow a procedure.

Before you begin a pre-shot routine, you must get behind the ball. This is the only way you can clearly sight the area you want to hit. You can now begin to approach the golf ball with confidence because you know for sure that you will hit it with perfect aim and drive it for well over 200 yards. From then on, this will be a straightforward process and you will continue to keep that positive attitude every time you step up to the tee. Now for the build up: place your hands on the club, keeping the clubface square. Align your body nicely, checking that your feet, thighs, hips and shoulders are all parallel. Then, with the confidence you gained before approaching the ball, trust your own aim and alignment; and execute the perfect shot you envisioned.

Even if you don't hit it perfectly, you will more than likely send it flying close to the 300 yard mark. These simple little confidence boosters are always great confidence booster for golfers; and can greatly improve your game if used in conjunction with different techniques. Synthesizing your mental golf game and your physical golf game will improve your overall game much better than either could do alone.
